This original production reimagines a nightclub as a living soundstage—where divine forces meet studio lights, and the line between fiction and folklore blurs.

Set within the world of a fictional 1950s sitcom, Club Babalu invites guests to step into the role of background extras during a live taping. The experience begins in a black-and-white living room set before revealing the vibrant world of Club Babalu—a lush, technicolor nightclub tucked inside the sitcom's narrative. On set, the audience becomes part of the b-roll scenes, guided by the Assistant Director through a theatrical journey that blends vintage TV charm and dark mysticism.

Once inside, the audience becomes part of the show as each act unfolds like a spiritual fever dream. Anchored in the traditions of Afro-Cuban Santería, each performance offers a symbolic tribute to an orisha—deities of protection, power, mischief, and love. Through a seamless blend of burlesque, ballroom, illusion, and live music, the stage evolves into an altar of transformation.

From fruit offerings and feather fans to chandeliers and chocolate, every detail is curated to tease, seduce, and surprise.
