Cinereal Productions brought The Unbrunch to life in New York City in 2019, presenting an original immersive theatre and dining experience that reimagined the timeless world of Alice in Wonderland as a five-story, free-roam adventure.

Guests stepped inside a historic Chelsea townhouse and descended “down the Rabbit Hole” into a dreamlike brunchscape of roving characters, hidden storylines, and surreal encounters. Over the course of their three-hour journey, audiences mingled with the White Rabbit, the Red Queen, and a mischievous cast of Wonderland denizens, uncovering secrets and shaping their own paths through the narrative.

Cinereal conceived and executed the project end‑to‑end including:

• Concept Development & Narrative Design: Built a fully branching storyline with dozens of possible character interactions and endings.

• Casting & Direction: Cast, choreographed, and directed an ensemble of immersive theatre performers, guiding tone, movement, and audience engagement.

• Scenic Transformation: Designed and installed five fully themed floors, transforming the Norwood Club into an opulent, otherworldly Wonderland.

• Food & Beverage Programming: Curated a bespoke brunch menu and craft cocktail program to pair with the theatrical narrative.

• On‑Site Creative & Production Management: Oversaw rehearsals, tech, and daily operations to ensure a seamless, transportive experience.
